Teen Dialectical Behavior Therapy Group

Adolescence is a challenging time for both parents and children.  There is significant pressure from peers to act a certain way to fit in.  Technology and social media have contributed to an added level of pressure for many teens.  During this time period, teens long for a sense of connection and acceptance.  Yet they don't always want to connect with their parents.  Instead teens often value their friendships and fitting in.  Parents can struggle to navigate adjusting boundaries, how to talk to their teens nearly young adulthood, and how to maintain trusting relationships.

This group is appropriate for teens struggling with histories of suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, self-harm, body image issues, eating disorders, perfectionism, and various mood disorders.

Group will include four modules including: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Feel free to reach out, see if its a good fit, and if not, we can try and help you find the right place!
