About Harmony

Hi, I’m Harmony!

I help people with trauma and loss experiences go from feeling shame-filled, depressed, and anxious to feeling more secure in themselves, grounded, and connected in relationships!

I do my best work with people who struggle with shame, depression, and/or anxiety as a result of childhood trauma, traumatic loss, and/or spiritual trauma. These adversities can wreck havoc on our sense of self, our ability to form healthy relationships, and being able to grow and thrive. I believe that creating safety in the therapeutic relationship is key. From there we can work on skills that will enable you to process difficulties from the past, allowing you to reconnect with yourself and feel more grounded and purposeful to live a life you love.

I am enrolled in a Master’s Clinical Mental Health Program at Trevecca Nazarene University. I’m currently working towards my clinical hours, under the direct supervision of Natalie LeQuang, LPC-MHSP.

My background of working with inner city youth has prepared me to work with people who have come from abusive and/or neglectful home lives.

I am passionate about working with people of all ages who feel ready to address the adverse impact that trauma has had on their lives and relationships, and are seeking to heal and return to their true selves.

I tend to view client issues through an attachment lens, meaning that our early relationships shape our feelings, behaviors, and relationships later in life. For example, if we feel unsafe in our early relationships, we are likely to feel mistrustful of ourselves or others in the future. I also believe in the importance of incorporating the body into therapy through somatic approaches. Often people need to reconnect to their bodies in order to process traumatic experiences that are held there.

In my free time I enjoy crafts with my children, Agatha Christine mysteries, interior design, and playing soccer with my Aussie puppy, Lady.
