Hi, I’m Katherine!

I help kids and adolescents with complex trauma and dissociation go from guarded, disconnected, and fearful to more open, connected, and safe!

I do my best work with children and teens who have been highly traumatized by those they love most. My clients struggle with things like chronic suicidality, severe dissociation (including DID), feeling disconnected and distant, and/or anxious and fearful. Many of my clients have survived challenging life experiences and/or trauma and are doing the best they can to get by.

I have my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Services Provider.

My background as a therapist for children and adolescents in foster care has prepared me to work with individuals who have experienced abuse and neglect, as well as grief and loss. Many of my clients also struggle to trust those closest to them due to attachment wounding.

I am passionate about working with kids and teens who have learned to cope by disconnecting from their thoughts, feelings, sensations, and memories. I also really enjoy facilitating connection between children/adolescents and their caregivers.

I have completed training in Comprehensive Resource Model. This approach to therapy allows me to get to know all parts of a person, including the parts that carry the hurt. I have a special interest in Ego State Therapy and how it can help all parts feel seen, heard, and understood.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, live music, and connecting with the people I love.
