Pregnancy Dialogues Group

Build a strong bond and connect to your baby and to other expecting parents!

For expecting parents who feel excited, nervous, and a bit overwhelmed about adjusting to having a new baby at home. Feel more prepared, relaxed, and connected to your baby prior to their arrival.

As you expect a new baby at home, there can be a lot of doubts, worries, and concerns. You may worry about postpartum depression, anxiety, or other postpartum challenges. Additionally, you may lack the support you need as you get ready to welcome your new baby into the world.

Pregnancy Dialogues can help! Pregnancy Dialogues is not therapy and you don’t need to have anything “wrong” to participate. It is a non-clinical group discussion from pregnant people and partners to explore topics around family, partner, and infant relationships before, during, and after a new baby enters the family.

Group will focus on:

  • Connecting to this pregnancy and this baby

  • Practicing relaxation and breathing exercises to reduce stress

  • Having a dialogue with your baby in the womb and feel the baby’s reactions

  • Balancing self-care with new family dynamics and life after birth

A primary focus is to foster safety, trust, and support within a group of pregnant people and expecting parents going through a similar phase of life.

This group is a great fit for you if you’re 20 weeks pregnant or more and you’re seeking to establish a healthy bond with your baby to promote secure attachment. Secure attachment in childhood is linked to many positive outcomes throughout childhood and life, including success academically and socially. Having a secure bond and attachment between parent and child often leads to a more healthy, successful, independent adult.

Group will be 2 hours in length, every Saturday from 1-3pm for 6 weeks. There will also be one 2-hour session scheduled 1-3 months post birth with your baby present.

Time: Saturdays 1pm-3pm

Location: Telehealth

Duration: 6 weeks + 1 post-birth session

Cost: $75 per session
